Calculate your Cost Per Install and compare against industry benchmarks
Cost Per Install (CPI) is the price you pay for each app installation from your advertising campaign. It's calculated by dividing your total ad spend by the number of installs generated.
Formula: CPI = Total Ad Spend ÷ Number of Installs
CPI is a key metric for mobile user acquisition because it directly impacts your unit economics. A lower CPI means you can acquire more users with the same budget, but quality matters too—a cheap install that doesn't engage or monetize is worthless.
